Position Overview
This position involves providing engineering support to the Energizer Rassau Auto Care facility. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leader, Production Supervisors, and the maintenance team to spearhead and manage improvement initiatives in response to evolving engineering and production demands.
The ideal candidate will contribute to team development by introducing and executing strategies that ensure the Rassau facility is recognized as a leader in its field. Key attributes include:

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering initiatives aligned with production strategies while providing daily technical support to production teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure daily operations utilize tools such as Dynamic Control Planning, feasibility studies, and project tracking systems, fostering a culture of change.
- Collaborate with management and training departments to fulfill the training needs of the engineering team effectively.
- Organize team activities to optimize workload and achieve daily and long-term objectives, including budgetary goals.
- Continuously evaluate and mentor teams to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards during routine and project activities.
- Actively participate in investigating quality or production issues using systematic problem-solving techniques to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.
- Oversee project planning and execution for shutdown activities.
Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Leader, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving improvements in JPM.
- Planning and executing forward initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with SQDCME standards.
- Supporting EPS initiatives.
- Providing hands-on engineering assistance to the team.
- Performing any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should ideally possess or be pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field, along with the following skills and attributes:
- Leadership and people development skills.
- High motivation, initiative, and creativity.
- Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as Six Sigma, 6 Panel reporting, FMEA, and DCP.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a demanding workload.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated motivation, innovation, and initiative.
- Evidence of leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility in managing frequent changes and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of Policy Deployment and performance measurement using scorecards.
- Strong analytical skills, with a good grasp of Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience with CAD software is preferred.
