Church Engagement and Fundraising Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Church Engagement and Fundraising Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with churches and faith-based organizations, inspiring them to become agents of change within Christian Aid.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to engage churches and faith-based organizations in Christian Aid's mission and work
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including church leaders and community groups
- Provide support and resources to churches and faith-based organizations to help them achieve their fundraising and community development goals
- Collaborate with other teams within Christian Aid to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to church engagement and fundraising
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of church engagement and fundraising initiatives, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in church engagement, fundraising, or a related field
- Strong relationships with churches and faith-based organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
