We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our healthcare support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter information promptly and accurately into our trust systems.
  • Execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Provide chaperone support to clinical staff as needed.
  • Offer administrative support to our healthcare team.
  • Organize and coordinate professional meetings and events.
  • Record staff sick leave and annual leave.
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff members.
  • Participate in the selection and recruitment of administrative staff.
  • Ensure building requirements are met.
  • Support clinical staff in managing service development and quality assurance.
  • Update administrative policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of healthcare systems and processes.
  • Ensure effective performance within your role and the team/department.
  • Record and sign invoices promptly.
  • Conduct staff annual appraisals and objective setting.
  • Ensure all staff receive comprehensive training and attend trust mandatory training.
  • Oversee and participate in the induction of new staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Adhere to all trust policies and procedures.
  • Manage the purchasing of supplies for the unit.
  • Support the team in the deployment and appropriate use of IT.
  • Provide training and support to the team.

Additional Duties:

  • Complete mandatory training in accordance with trust policy and procedures.
  • Participate in the staff appraisal process.
  • Stay informed on all matters relating to trust policy.
  • Provide management supervision where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with key partner organizations, service users, carers, clinicians, and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services.
