Job Summary

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and support to our dynamic team at Burlington Primary Care.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative colleagues to provide high-quality patient services.
  • Act as the front-line interface between patients and the Practice, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Provide and maintain a high standard of patient communication via various channels, delivered with a customer-focused approach.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the link between clinicians and clinical correspondence in the Practice, ensuring accurate scanning, coding, and matching of externally received documentation.
  • Liaise with patients and care facilitate enquiries to deliver healthcare outcomes in line with Practice objectives and contractual responsibilities.
  • Provide secretarial support and cover as needed, working alongside clinical and administrative colleagues.
  • Contribute to the provision of preventative healthcare to the practice population, working collaboratively with the team.

Person Specification

  • Essential:
    • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
    • Experience working with members of the public
    • Experience with using IT
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player with a dash of independence
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working in Primary Care or a healthcare setting
    • Experience with using a patient clinical system (e.g., SystemOne)
