Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Job Summary
- Deliver exceptional patient care and support to our dynamic team at Burlington Primary Care.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative colleagues to provide high-quality patient services.
- Act as the front-line interface between patients and the Practice, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Provide and maintain a high standard of patient communication via various channels, delivered with a customer-focused approach.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the link between clinicians and clinical correspondence in the Practice, ensuring accurate scanning, coding, and matching of externally received documentation.
- Liaise with patients and care facilitate enquiries to deliver healthcare outcomes in line with Practice objectives and contractual responsibilities.
- Provide secretarial support and cover as needed, working alongside clinical and administrative colleagues.
- Contribute to the provision of preventative healthcare to the practice population, working collaboratively with the team.
Person Specification
- Essential:
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- Experience working with members of the public
- Experience with using IT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a dash of independence
- Desirable:
- Experience working in Primary Care or a healthcare setting
- Experience with using a patient clinical system (e.g., SystemOne)
