We are seeking compassionate social workers who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals, employing innovative approaches to empower them to achieve their goals and maintain independence in their chosen living environments.

This position requires a permanent, part-time Community Support Specialist to operate throughout Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Safeguarding Adults Service.

In this role, you will lead and manage Safeguarding Inquiries within a dynamic and supportive specialist team.

This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, working with diverse individuals aged 18 and over who may be at risk of or experiencing abuse or neglect.

As part of your duties, you will ensure that Safeguarding is Personal, actively involving the individual or their representative throughout the inquiry process, while employing a strengths-based approach to mitigate risks and achieve desired outcomes.

You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied for registration with the Social Care Council. For positions where non-social worker qualifications are accepted, registration is not required, and you will be appointed as a Care Manager.
