Position Title: PR Assistant

Department: Marketing

Location: Flexible (3 days a week in the office)

Compensation: £22,500 - £25,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview:

Conspicuous, a prominent entity in the retail industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic PR Assistant to become a vital part of their vibrant marketing team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals keen to embark on a career in Public Relations and Influencer Marketing, offering support across a diverse range of engaging projects.

Key Duties:

  • Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Conspicuous and its PR agency, overseeing press office inquiries and incoming opportunities across all earned media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside various teams to ensure that PR opportunities are fully leveraged across all channels.
  • Reporting: Regularly document and assess press coverage, compiling and distributing weekly PR and influencer reports.
  • Influencer Engagement: Assist in the recruitment of influencers and support the development of influencer briefs to promote new products, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Internal Communications: Act as the first point of contact for store staff regarding PR or influencer-related questions.
  • Marketing Communications: Aid in the management of internal marketing campaign schedules, company-wide communications, and award submission support.
  • Administrative Support: Oversee product requests, distribute influencer assets, manage contracts and photography usage timelines, process invoices, and coordinate meetings.
  • Task Management: Ensure all responsibilities are executed accurately and punctually.

Essential Qualifications:

• Early career experience in PR or marketing, with a background in a PR agency or marketing environment and/or relevant educational qualifications.

• Quick learner with a strong interest in marketing, PR, and influencer marketing.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and effective personal time management.

• Confident in interactions with colleagues, supplier agencies, and clients.

• Proactive, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.

• Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Interest in social media and influencer dynamics.
