We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Support Coordinator to join our PALS & Complaints Team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to our team and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the PALS & Complaints Team, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating tasks.
- Act as the first point of contact for all initial enquiries, responding to queries and escalating issues as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff at all levels, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Triage telephone calls and written enquiries, taking full details to ensure that the PALS & Complaints Officers are able to investigate the issues raised and respond within agreed timescales.
- Experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure, managing competing priorities and maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
