Medical Education Administrative Officer

This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Medical Education, Development and Workforce team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Assist with the delivery of postgraduate teaching and training programs for junior doctors.
- Provide administrative support for the planning and organization of training events, inductions, and meetings.
- Compile and maintain attendance records, issue certificates, and report on absence levels.
- Manage IT accounts and lone working devices for junior doctors.
- Monitor completion of statutory and mandatory training by junior doctors and maintain records on ESR.
- Assist with mid and end-point reviews for trainee doctors.
- Support the management of trainee Balint groups.
- Internal room bookings and logistics.
- Liaising with speakers and presenters.
- Inputting data on relevant databases and maintaining records.
- Ordering stationery and catering.
- Setting up rooms for teaching and meetings.
- Providing a reception service for the department.
- Attending key postgraduate meetings and taking minutes as necessary.

Person Specification- English and Maths GCSE A-C or equivalent level.
- Word-processing skills at Level 3 (OCR/RSA Level 3) or equivalent qualification(s) in relevant subjects or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Capable of working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a customer-service focus.
- Awareness of medical education is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
