Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader to enhance our team.

Our facility provides a supportive environment with various amenities, allowing residents to engage in numerous activities tailored to their interests.

Role Overview

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our extra care facility, delivering specialized assistance to individuals. We believe in recognizing each person as unique, ensuring that our services are customized to meet their specific requirements.

Your responsibilities will include being the primary contact for care packages, conducting supervisions and meetings, and providing guidance to Care Workers. You will be tasked with organizing and delegating work to ensure that personal care and all related tasks are tailored to each client. Additionally, you will assist with medication management, personal care duties, and community support.

Participation in the on-call rota is essential, as you will provide coverage for care and housing-related support duties during emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

While prior experience as a Team Leader is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be working towards Level 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to continuous learning in alignment with client needs.

This position necessitates an enhanced DBS check.
