Senior Care Team Supervisor

Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant/ Team Supervisor to enhance our team.
Our facilities offer a variety of one and two-bedroom apartments along with numerous on-site amenities such as a hair salon, post office, restaurant, and therapy room. Residents can engage in various activities including movie nights, curling, bingo, and more.
Role Overview
In the capacity of Team Supervisor, you will deliver essential support to our extra care facility, offering specialized assistance to individuals. At Radis, we acknowledge each person as unique and strive to provide a personalized service tailored to their specific requirements, ensuring a consistent approach throughout their journey.
You will serve as the primary contact for the care package, conducting supervisions and meetings while supporting the Care Workers. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and assigning tasks to the Care Workers, ensuring that personal care and all care activities are tailored to each client. Additionally, you will assist with medication management, personal care tasks, and community support.
Participation in the on-call rota is also a requirement, providing coverage for care and Radis' housing-related support duties when emergency situations arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
While prior experience as a Team Supervisor is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be working towards Level 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to adapt in accordance with clients' needs and expectations.
This position necessitates undergoing an enhanced DBS check.
