The Roseate Edinburgh, a distinguished establishment, has been a hallmark of luxury and style, offering a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort. This boutique hotel is renowned for its elegant interiors and exceptional service, providing guests with a serene retreat in the heart of the city.

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Facilities Operations Manager to lead and oversee all operational maintenance functions within our hotel. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all systems, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the maintenance operations of the hotel.
  • Establish and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of essential spare parts and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and oversee the maintenance budget effectively.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Keep precise records of all maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a facilities management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance protocols, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
