Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lounge Manager to join our team at 67 Pall Mall. As a Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our luxury lounge, ensuring exceptional service standards and a warm welcome for all members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and motivate a team of floor staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Service Standards: Ensure that all members and visitors receive a warm and welcoming experience, with a focus on exceptional service, quality food, and wine.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Possess a thorough knowledge of food, wine, and cooking techniques to provide expert advice and recommendations to guests.
  • Stock Management: Oversee the ordering and control of stock items, ensuring that the lounge is always well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Team Management: Work closely with the kitchen team and sommelier team to ensure seamless service and high standards of quality.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with the chef and sommelier team to plan and coordinate menus that meet the needs of our members and visitors.
  • Customer Service: Respond to member complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management: Organize and supervise relevant team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Prepare cash drawers and provide petty cash as required, ensuring that financial transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Be responsible for opening and closing the building correctly, handling cash opening and closing procedures, and ensuring that the lounge is secure and ready for the next day.
  • Human Resources: Take an active part in recruiting and other aspects of human resources, working closely with management to meet revenue objectives.
