Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our dedicated paediatric Pharmacy department at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

As a band 6 pharmacist, you will actively participate in the full range of services provided by pharmacy, including providing a clinical pharmacy service to specific wards on a rotational basis and training in aseptic services.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a high-quality medicines optimisation service to children in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and the surrounding areas.

You will gain experience through a structured rotation programme working in Clinical Pharmacy Services on specialist medical and surgical wards, as well as participating in operational Pharmacy Services.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain
  • Vocational master's degree in pharmacy, pre-registration training, and experience

Desirable:

  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
  • Membership of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacy group (NPPG)
  • IT qualification ECDL
