Job Title: Advanced Pharmacist Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated specialist pharmacist to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience in delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a highly specialized clinical pharmacy service for gastroenterology to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of drugs.
  • Participate in the pharmaceutical services of the trust, including clinical pharmacy, aseptic services, and in-patient services.
  • Take part in the weekend, bank holiday, and out-of-hour emergency duty service.
Requirements:
  • MPharm or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Membership of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist Group.
  • Independent Prescribing qualification.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of delivering clinical pharmacy services.
  • Experience of personnel management.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Paediatric pharmacy experience.
  • Experience of NHSE funding.
