Job Title: Triage Caseworker

At Catch22, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Triage Caseworker to join our team. As a Triage Caseworker, you will play a vital role in providing support to victims and witnesses of crime, ensuring they receive the necessary information and assistance to navigate the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial support and guidance to victims and witnesses, offering practical and emotional support as needed.
  • Manage a caseload of referred victims and witnesses, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with a range of agencies to establish a robust referral pathway, ensuring seamless support for victims and witnesses.
  • Deliver high-quality restorative justice services, working closely with victims, witnesses, and offenders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with victims and witnesses, empowering them to feel informed and supported throughout their support journey.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a caseworker or support role, with a strong understanding of the criminal justice system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with victims and witnesses.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the service.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Good understanding of restorative justice principles and practices, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
