About the Role

Atrium UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Category Manager to lead our Technology Procurement team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to deliver business requirements across assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development
    • Lead the development, management, and implementation of procurement category strategies for Cyber Security and Global Risk & Compliance Groups.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to create value.
  • Strategy Implementation
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms for procurement contracts.
    • Manage and monitor ongoing negotiations with 3rd parties.
    • Lead and implement key projects to support savings delivery or risk mitigation.
  • Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management
    • Build strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to create value.
    • Align sourcing strategies accordingly.
    • Lead stakeholder alignment and plan delivery.
  • External Supplier Relationships
    • Lead SRM for key strategic vendors in spend categories.
    • Manage suppliers for the categories within scope through a robust performance management process.
  • Business Strategy
    • Champion the sourcing group management process and policies across functions and link these to the company's strategic direction.
    • Know and utilise complex business processes in all supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong procurement experience, particularly with respect to developing and implementing strategies, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing strategy and managing across multiple markets.
  • Leadership/communication skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement tools and skillset, such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development, and others.
  • Good ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, and work in partnership with others to drive, implement, and support change.
  • Good ability to manage sensitive partnerships, strong influencing and stakeholder partnering skills, coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of finance (cost benchmark & financial audit with key supplier) and legal matters (contracting).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing global projects.
  • Contracting experience required, including a thorough understanding of contracting fundamentals and experience with contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance.
