Job Title: Global Category Manager, Market Research

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager, Market Research to join our team at Publicis Re:Sources Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle of Market Research spend products and services, focusing on regional or global opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex spend analysis, identify patterns and trends, and make recommendations for new projects or commercial and legal improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and consult with stakeholders to understand technical and commercial aspects of complex business needs.
  • Work with various stakeholders to shape and articulate business needs and outcomes, ensuring alignment with organisational strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for approval by the CPO and/or Global Procurement Director Production.
  • Prepare well-structured RFX documentation and run fair, transparent, and efficient competitive bidding processes.
  • Oversee or direct the evaluation process for complex or politically sensitive procurements to ensure compliance with policy requirements and drive value for money outcomes.
  • Draft contract terms, negotiate contractual terms, and provide influential advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies for complex requirements, identifying and designing plans for vendor management and execution.
  • Champion procurement activities, identifying opportunities for aggregation and tracking savings and cost avoidance potential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in category management and executing complex RFP processes.
  • Developed project management skills, highly organised, and able to prioritise tasks.
  • Advanced negotiations skills, business acumen, and sound financial, legal, and communication skills.
  • Politically savvy, able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial procurement environment.
  • A proven team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
