About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Category Manager, Market Research to join our team at Publicis Re:Sources Global. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading global organization and contribute to the development of our market research capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full procurement cycle of market research spend products and services, focusing on regional or global opportunities.
  • Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies to drive value for money and improve procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical and commercial aspects of market research needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and execute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Oversee the evaluation process for complex procurements and ensure compliance with all policy requirements.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure effective vendor management and risk mitigation.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on market research procurement and vendor management.
  • Identify opportunities for aggregation and cost savings, and develop plans to achieve those goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in category management and executing complex RFP processes.
  • Developed project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced negotiations skills, with the ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Business acumen, with a strong understanding of financial, legal, and communication principles.
  • Politically savvy, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial procurement environment.
  • A proven team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
