Job Title: Head of Aerospace

Job Summary:

Polytec Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Aerospace to lead the procurement activities for our client based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to meet the needs of the business.
  2. Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement processes and practices.
  3. Negotiate and agree contractual terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the business.
  4. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, practices, and regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
