Procurement Manager Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function across our operations in Cambridge, UK and Winnipeg, Canada.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Procurement team, including line management of Procurement Specialists.
* Identify and deliver tangible results through cost reduction and service performance.
* Work with the Head of Financial Operations in managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organisation.
* Review and assist with Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to ensure the best outcomes for Frontier's procurement efforts.
* Regularly review procedures and processes to ensure control, compliance, and efficiency across the Procurement function.
* Provide additional support and expertise to the Procurement Specialists in respect of licencing renewals and managing external talent negotiations.
* Assist with high value contract renewals, including the review of commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
**Requirements**
* Demonstrable experience and track record in leading successful procurement efforts, preferably with experience in managing a team.
* Broad procurement experience with particular emphasis on indirect procurement.
