Retail Store Manager

Majestic Wine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations of the store. Take responsibility of the store and team in their absence.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities. Deliver exceptional market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Team Management: Support the recruitment, management, and development of the team. Be a sounding board and source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to the Store Manager as appropriate.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate and share your passion for product with customers through an in-depth knowledge of our range, managing a tasting events programme, and executing an enticing and commercially savvy tasting counter.
- Store Maintenance: Take accountability and pride for the physical appearance and maintenance of the store both internally and externally.
- Experience: Experience of working as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
- Customer Service: Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
- Retail KPIs: Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to drive improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritise and strategically problem-solve in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Qualifications: WSET 2 Qualification is essential. Willingness to work towards WSET 3 Qualification in order to progress to Store Manager.
