Store Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at SPAR Threshfield. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our team to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that all store standards are maintained, and taking on responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Motivate Your Team: Create an environment where our colleagues can work to their fullest potential, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Store Management: Take on responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager, ensuring that all store standards are maintained.
- Health and Safety: Lead by example in ensuring that all store standards, including health and safety and food hygiene, are maintained.
- Store Audits and Administration: Take responsibility for the updating and maintaining of store audits and administration procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a customer-focused manner and a flexible approach to working hours.
- Experience: Some experience of delegating tasks and motivating a team, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Loyalty Award: An additional £0.65 per hour, paid in a lump sum on the pay day after your anniversary date.
