We are currently looking for a 30-hour Facilities Support Operative role based at a community hospital within our Estates and Facilities Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

The Facilities Support Operative will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving and distributing healthcare-related supplies.
  • Transporting linen, waste bins, and carts throughout the hospital.
  • Assisting with patient transfers between departments.
  • Providing domestic and reception support.
  • Facilitating the movement of patients using wheelchairs, trolleys, or beds, while assisting clinical staff to minimize risks.
  • Handling the movement of deceased individuals in accordance with Trust policies.
  • Ensuring all waste is collected, transported, and disposed of following Trust policies and relevant legislation.
