Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact on their care and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring that they receive the correct medication at the right time.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:
- An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to cover a range of responsibilities.
