About the Role

Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high standards of personal care and support to our residents.

Your focus will be on delivering person-centred care, monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, and ensuring that their needs are met. You will also be involved in the care planning process, implementing and monitoring care plans, and undertaking monthly evaluations.

Other responsibilities will include supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and supporting staff with their development. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. You will also need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
