About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Logistics Operative to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Directorate, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality responsive, efficient, and effective patient support service to wards and departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receipt and distribution of healthcare-related products
  • Transportation of linen cages, waste bins, and carts in and around hospital environments
  • Patient moves (reception to department or department to department)
  • Domestic and reception cover
  • Conveyance and movement of patients by wheelchair, trolley, bed, etc.
  • Assisting clinical staff to reduce risk
  • Movement of deceased persons complying with Trust Policies and Procedures
  • To ensure all waste is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with Trust Policies and procedures and current legislation
