Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to oversee daily operations, manage a team of over 45 Drivers and Warehouse Operatives, and ensure seamless execution of logistics processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by ensuring the site, yard, and fleet are consistently clean and well-maintained.
- Take ownership of personnel management, process optimization, performance monitoring, employee well-being, and workplace culture.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal condition and efficiency.
- Lead the implementation and adherence to health and safety policies, training programs, and governance to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues promptly, with a focus on minimizing customer impact and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management and fleet operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve business objectives.
