About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our client-facing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Observability and Monitoring: Maintain and configure observability platforms, such as Datadog, to provide real-time insights into service performance and identify potential issues.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactively monitor production and other environments to ensure stability, availability, security, and integrity, and design and implement automation and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis: Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to mitigate and prevent future issues, and work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on projects and system status.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Training: Contribute to the design, build, and operational management of services, and participate in on-call rotation to provide support and ensure system uptime, while also producing training materials and articles to promote knowledge transfer.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills and experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure management, and observability.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement automation and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
