Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at WTW. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our client-facing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our services
  • Maintain and configure observability platforms to monitor and troubleshoot issues
  • Design and implement automation and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on projects and system status
  • Contribute to the design, build, and operational management of services
  • Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to mitigate and prevent future issues
  • Work closely with engineering, support, and operations teams to upskill and promote knowledge transfer
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role
  • Experience of running 24x7 services in a public cloud, ideally Azure
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including best practices for monitoring, scaling, and security
  • Experience with observability platforms and scripting languages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly
Desirable Skills:
  • Azure certifications and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#
  • Previous experience working with Configuration as Code technologies
