We are seeking Correctional Custody Officers to join our dedicated team at Crooton Ltd. This is a unique and vital role within the criminal justice system, where you will be responsible for the safe and secure transportation and custody of detainees.
Key Responsibilities:- Escort, supervise, and transport prisoners between courts, police stations, prisons, hospitals, and other locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is equipped and ready for daily operations.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the safety and security of those in custody.
- Maintain order in the courtroom, complete relevant documentation, and manage prisoner movements.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of those in your care.
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with Prison and Police authorities.
Requirements:
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Non-judgmental approach, treating individuals with dignity and respect.
- Physical fitness and flexibility to carry out the role safely.
- Full UK driving license (D Licence preferred for drivers).
