Role Summary: The Executive Lounge Training Supervisor will report to both the General Manager and the Senior Regional Training Officer, supporting the entire local lounge team by executing the training function, from classroom-based induction for new hires to practical training in the lounge environment. In this capacity, you will serve as a senior leader within the lounge, ensuring that each team member meets and exceeds guest expectations by adhering to our training, safety, and hygiene protocols. Collaborating with the Lounge Regional Training structure, you will ensure compliance with all mandatory and regulatory training requirements, maintaining fully auditable records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver both classroom and on-the-job training in alignment with global and local standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop both new and existing staff by providing constructive feedback to enhance performance and behavior.
  • Lead by example, serving as a role model for staff and addressing performance issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate the induction process for new employees.
  • Continuously assess employee performance to ensure competence and confidence in their roles.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Maintain compliance within the lounge, ensuring recurrent training is current.
  • Regularly communicate with the Senior Regional Training Officer to discuss training needs within your lounge.
  • Update the training database to reflect compliance accurately.
  • Assist with coverage for team leaders and other related responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide professional day-to-day leadership to the lounge team, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, quality, customer service, and security are consistently met.
  • Proactively support operations to optimize effectiveness, championing service, dietary, and allergen information.
  • Take personal responsibility to ensure the team delivers exceptional service consistently, minimizing health and safety incidents.
  • Engage in effective communication and collaboration to motivate others.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Experience in the aviation sector, preferably in an operational capacity.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prepared to undertake iLead and Level 3 training qualifications post-appointment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are advantageous).
  • A strong desire to lead and develop teams and individual team members.
  • Ability to travel as required within the lounge network.
