Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program CNC lathes with 2 & 3 axes utilizing live tooling through Fanuc controls.
  • Set up machines and produce initial samples to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain machine setup documentation.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology and pursue continuous improvement in CNC operations.
  • Work closely with management to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Assist production management in addressing technical challenges.
  • Adhere to company protocols and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Uphold a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide support to team members as necessary.
  • Guide and mentor new employees as needed.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following Health and Safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
  • Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating lathes with a tolerance of 0.008mm using Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and utilize measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with both Metric and Imperial measurement systems.
  • Proficient in computer use and possess a methodical approach.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience within the Aerospace sector.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Friday: 8am - 1pm

SALARY
£40,500 depending on experience.
