Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team at Matchtech. This role focuses on the programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling machines to manufacture top-tier aerospace components.

The successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a dedication to upholding exceptional standards of accuracy and productivity.


Key Duties:

CNC Machine Operation:

Efficiently set up and operate CNC milling machines to create small-batch aerospace components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.


Component Manufacturing:
Deliver components on schedule while adhering to rigorous quality benchmarks.

Machine Configuration:
Prepare CNC machine tools for operators as necessary.

Quality Control:
Utilize various measuring tools to verify that components align with specifications and quality requirements.

Training:
Mentor and assist new team members in grasping processes and equipment usage.

Product Protection:
Ensure that products are adequately packaged for transportation.

Production Planning:
Follow and prioritize tasks based on the production schedule.

Record Keeping:
Diligently complete and maintain all necessary manufacturing documentation.

Task Management:
Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader with efficiency.

Workplace Organization:
Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment.

Team Collaboration:
Support colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Safety Compliance:
Adhere to Health & Safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.

Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other relevant tasks as needed to assist Machine Shop operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:
Proven experience in CNC Milling.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and utilize measuring instruments.
Background in the aerospace sector and familiarity with Mazak CNC Machining Centres.
Capability to modify CNC programs and work with both Metric and Imperial systems.
Strong computer skills and a systematic approach to work.
