Position Overview:
Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery, specifically focused on turning operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to program, set up, and manufacture precision aerospace components in small batches.

  • Program CNC lathes with 2 and 3 axes, utilizing live tooling through advanced control systems.
  • Set up machines and produce initial components to verify that specifications and tolerances are consistently met.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive machine setup documentation.

Continuous Improvement:
Engage in identifying and developing innovative processes to enhance CNC machining efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration:
Work closely with production management to devise and implement technical solutions for production-related challenges.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to uphold company standards and quality protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to established Health and Safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
  • Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating both 2-axis and multi-axis lathes.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace sector is essential.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship is preferred.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm; Friday: 8am - 1pm.
