Position: Culinary Specialist

Contract Type: Full Time Seasonal

Compensation: £11.97 – £12.70 per hour

Reporting Structure: Reports to Head Chef and Country House Manager

Key Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist at our Country House, you will play a vital role in providing a retreat experience for guests participating in guided or self-guided walking tours. You will have a clear understanding of guest needs and will prepare meals according to a fixed schedule. Menus are planned in advance, and pre-orders are taken for lunch and dinner.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and serving a Traditional British menu, which encompasses breakfast, packed lunches, and a three-course evening meal served in a banquet style.

Candidate Profile:

We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:

• Experience in a high-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Food Safety Act, Allergen Legislation, and Fire Regulations
• Ability to maintain the culinary standards set by the Head Chef
• NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cooking or a willingness to pursue this qualification
• Team player with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
