Compensation: £11.97 – £12.70 per hour
Reporting Structure: Head Chef and Country House Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Specialist at our Monk Coniston Country House, you will play a vital role in providing a serene retreat for guests participating in guided or self-guided walking tours. You will be aware of the number of guests and their dining needs, as our meal schedules are predetermined. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and serve a Traditional British menu, which includes breakfast, packed lunches, and a three-course evening meal served in a banquet style.
Candidate Profile:
We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:
- Experience in a high-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act, Food Safety Act (including allergen legislation), Food Hygiene Regulations, and Fire Regulations.
- Ability to uphold the culinary standards and style established by the Head Chef.
- NVQ Level 3 in professional cooking or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
