Position: Culinary Specialist

Contract Type: Full Time Seasonal

Compensation: £11.97 – £12.70 per hour

Reporting Structure: Reports to Head Chef and Country House Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Country House, which accommodates guests for guided or self-guided walking tours. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation and service of a Traditional British menu, which includes breakfast, packed lunches, and a three-course evening meal served in a banquet style.
• Planning menus in advance and managing pre-orders for meals.
• Ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in accordance with relevant legislation.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following essential skills:

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety legislation, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to maintain the culinary standards set by the Head Chef.
• NVQ Level 3 in professional cooking or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
• Team player with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
