Conservation Programme Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled manager to oversee our conservation and land stewardship initiatives. This is a remarkable opportunity to influence the future of the renowned Moors for the Future Partnership. The position allows you to make a significant impact on the South Pennine uplands and beyond, with our core focus being the South Pennine SAC while also extending our efforts globally.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve identifying new opportunities and innovative strategies to provide essential evidence supporting the effectiveness of our diverse projects. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for data collection and analysis. A substantial aspect of your responsibilities will include developing new business avenues, ranging from small grants to substantial funding proposals.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field, with a strong background in managing upland ecosystems, particularly peatland areas. You should be an effective team collaborator, capable of working within the management team to deliver a cohesive program on behalf of the Partnership.
We are looking for a proficient programme manager with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, complemented by a proactive approach. Experience in fundraising and grant writing, along with a history of collaborative work, is essential.
