Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled manager to oversee our conservation and land stewardship initiatives. This position presents a unique opportunity to influence the future of the renowned Moors for the Future Partnership. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the ecological health of the South Pennine uplands and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to identify and create innovative strategies for gathering essential data that demonstrates the impact of our conservation efforts. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for this data collection. A significant aspect of your role will involve securing new funding opportunities, ranging from small grants to substantial financial proposals.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field, with a strong background in managing upland ecosystems, particularly peatland areas. You should be an effective collaborator, capable of working within a management team to deliver a cohesive program on behalf of the Partnership.
We are looking for a proficient programme manager with excellent leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, complemented by a proactive approach. Experience in fundraising and grant writing, as well as collaborative work, is essential.
