Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and supervision to staff within the Core CAMHS Team. They will work closely with the team to support and lead on service improvement initiatives, and provide effective clinical leadership and supervision to staff.

Key Duties
  • Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment to children, young people, and families with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
  • Identify levels of clinical risk and prioritise accordingly, providing advice and leadership to staff.
  • Provide comprehensive and collaborative assessment to children, young people, and families.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans and interventions to support children, young people, and families.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent mental health, with experience of working with children, young people, and families. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality care and service provisions, and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualities

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive approach to children, young people, and their families/carers, and have a strong understanding of the theory and practice of therapeutic approaches in specific difficult-to-treat groups.
