About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Autism Specialist to join our team as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). As an AMHP, you will work closely with our social workers, nurses, and other professionals to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and their families.

The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a registered profession, such as social work, nursing, or occupational therapy, and will have completed AMHP training. You will have a strong understanding of mental health legislation and policies, as well as experience in working with individuals with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and support individuals with autism and their families
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual's needs and promote their well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Provide training and education to other professionals and individuals on autism and mental health
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to autism and mental health
