About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Lead Physiotherapist for Learning Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults with learning disabilities and make a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialist physiotherapy input into planning, development, and evaluation of learning disability services.
  2. Lead and manage a team of physiotherapists, providing supervision, appraisal, and professional development.
  3. Develop and implement clinical interventions based on referral evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of individuals with complex needs.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct risk assessments and develop care plans.
  5. Provide professional leadership and management responsibility within the Learning Disability Partnership.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. UK-recognised diploma or degree in physiotherapy.
  2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  3. Demonstrable post-qualifying experience within a community multidisciplinary team.
  4. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
  5. Some experience in respiratory physiotherapy.
  6. Experience in providing clinical supervision.
