Children's Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Children's Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and young people who attend the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients and their families, in conjunction with the ED/Paediatric team, Clinical teams, Matrons, Practice Development Team (PDT), and the wider Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
- Support and guide the development of the team and services to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients and their families.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members, and be a role model for junior staff.
- Support a multi-disciplinary team in different areas of the Emergency Care setting as required.
- Registered Nurse (Child) / RNC qualification.
- PILS Trained.
- 2 Years' experience working in ED or acute medical admission area.
- Ability to comprehensively assess children and a working knowledge of Manchester Triage.
- Teaching/Mentorship qualification or working towards.
- PILS trained.
- 4 years post registration experience.
