Position Overview

As a Lead Solutions Strategist at Butterworths Limited Company, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and execution of tailored classification solutions for our expanding clientele. Collaborating closely with internal teams throughout the sales process, you will also engage directly with clients to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide a team of Solutions Analysts, ensuring they meet critical deadlines and effectively interact with clients to facilitate successful contract renewals.
  • Foster the professional growth of the Solutions Analysts, identifying and addressing any performance issues, and escalating concerns to the Head of Solutions as necessary.
  • Contribute to the seamless integration of Classification within the broader LNIP product ecosystem by actively collaborating with various departments.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts, including key strategic clients, ensuring the successful deployment of Classification solutions while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to the sales team.
  • Take a proactive role in client interactions, mapping out workflows, delivering results, and establishing success metrics.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on diverse technologies and products to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and articulate project scopes to create client-specific classifier taxonomies.
  • Train supervised machine learning classifiers using curated patent data to facilitate automated tagging of patents according to specific technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
  • A keen interest in technological advancements and innovation trends.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • An analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to engage in client-facing activities.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing complex projects, preferably within the intellectual property sector utilizing classification methodologies.
