Job OverviewLead Product Strategist (Lending Solutions)

IntecSelect, a prominent player in the financial services sector, is seeking a Lead Product Strategist with substantial expertise in Lending solutions, including Mortgages, Bridging Loans, and Development Finance. This role is pivotal as our organization undergoes a significant digital transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of functional skills and technical knowledge to assist in the redevelopment of our core business areas within a SAFe Agile framework. This is a remarkable opportunity for the selected individual to operate with a high degree of autonomy, frequently collaborating with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive technological advancements during a crucial phase of our organization’s evolution.

We offer a competitive salary package of up to £90,000, along with a performance-based bonus, 30 days of annual leave, and comprehensive corporate benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer and market demands and convert them into actionable product specifications.
  • Establish, prioritize, and ensure effective communication of requirements to deliver product functionalities through EPICS and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with the organization and subject matter experts to implement the desired technological outcomes for the product.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including technology, design, customer service, and compliance, to ensure the successful rollout of products and features.
  • Remain informed about emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential influence on the company's offerings.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to support teams, fostering a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to guide the creation of new products and the enhancement of existing offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Proven recent experience in Commercial/Residential Mortgages, Bridging Loans, and Development Finance is essential.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in leading functional and technical product transformation initiatives are required.
  • Extensive experience managing a product team composed of cross-functional engineers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts is necessary.
  • Experience with product transformation in cloud environments is highly desirable as the organization seeks modernization.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and overseeing third-party vendors are essential.
  • A solid understanding of Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies is required.
  • Experience in the financial services sector or regulated environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with lending or savings system processes would be a valuable asset.
