About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioural Support Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional guidance and encouragement to manage their behaviour and engage in positive learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the exclusion room, helping them to manage their behaviour and develop positive learning habits.
  • Assist students transitioning from the classroom to the exclusion unit, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition process.
  • Monitor the campus to maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with students in a behavioural support role, preferably within a school setting.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity, and a willingness to support students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
