Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and assisting with stock control and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service customers on the trade counter, taking orders and responding to queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving and storing stock, and preparing orders for delivery.
  • Develop close relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone, to resolve queries and provide support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a trade customer-facing role, preferably within an electrical wholesaler or similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and managing stock.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
