Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Next Employment Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our regional offices in Surrey.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Resource Allocation: Manage the administrative and support teams across the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient workflow.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and manage processes to improve turnaround times, streamline operations, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and monitor training programs, CPD, and professional exams to ensure our teams have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Centralize AML and engagement letters, independence and integrity checks, and manage health and safety protocols for all offices.
  • Marketing and Events: Liaise with our marketing team to coordinate and run events that promote our services and support business growth.
  • Project Management: Oversee and support project rollouts, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on team performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
  • HR and Recruitment: Liaise with our People function to manage HR matters across the region, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • IT and Estates Management: Coordinate IT requirements with our central IT team and manage estates across the hub, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Compliance and Governance: Provide compliance support and link to our central compliance team, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

About You:

  • Professional Services Background: You will have experience working in a professional services environment, with a strong understanding of stakeholder management and business operations.
  • Leadership and Management: You will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Technical Skills: You will have a good understanding of IT systems and ideally knowledge of accountancy software packages, with the ability to implement and manage processes to improve efficiency.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
