About the Role
As a Deputy Manager (RN) with Leonard Cheshire, you will provide comprehensive support to the Service Manager in overseeing the nursing home and will take charge in their absence. Your role will involve effective management and guidance of a dedicated team, including nurses and care staff, ensuring the service operates smoothly. You will foster positive outcomes for individuals with disabilities through a flexible and proactive approach.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and delivering the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our clients, while promoting independence and choice. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fulfilling statutory obligations, and maintaining excellent service delivery.

Key Qualifications:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- Professional development and registration, potentially including Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care qualification
- Experience in leading a team of nursing and care staff
- Experience in providing direct personal and social care
- Experience working with clients who have physical and/or learning disabilities
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours
