About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager in the running of our nursing home and deputising in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective management and supervision of a team of nurses and care staff.
  • Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run and promotes positive outcomes for our customers.
  • Monitor and provide the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers.
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant with health and safety management, statutory obligations and excellent overall service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care qualification).
  • Experience in managing a team of nursing and care staff.
  • Experience of providing direct personal and social care.
  • Experience in working with customers who have physical and/or learning disabilities.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours.
